Arun Gore :

Arun is Managing Director of Gray Ghost Ventures’ Social Venture Group and leads the team that is responsible for overseeing the development, evaluation, governance, and operational management of the social venture portfolio. His executive management, policy and finance experience drives the strategic direction for the funds under management and he is actively engaged as a board representative for the portfolio companies.

Arun served in a consulting capacity with GGV before joining the company on a full-time basis in 2008. Prior to GGV, he worked with T-Mobile USA, where he held executive positions in various capacities, from managing market operations to serving as CFO for Cook Inlet/T-Mobile. As CFO he was engaged in managing joint venture operations and procuring funding of over $1 billion through syndications of senior-secured credit facilities. Before his tenure at T-Mobile, Arun led the international operations of SAI Inc., an energy and oil field supplies company. During his career, Arun has provided advice for, invested and participated in the growth and success of multiple technology and telecom focused ventures.

Arun has an MBA with a specialization in Finance. He pursued undergraduate studies in both India and the United States, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in the sciences, as well as a BSc. in Accounting.

S Viswanatha Prasad

Prasad has over 20 years of experience in the mainstream financial sector, of which the last 8 years have been spent in microfinance.

Prior to founding Bellwether, Prasad held the positions of CFO, COO and eventually CEO of Bhartiya Samruddhi Finance limited, the flagship company in the BASIX group, one of the largest microfinance networks in India. BASIX was the first microfinance institution in India to raise external equity, as well as the first in Asia to securitize its microfinance portfolio.

Before entering the world of microfinance, Prasad was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance and Asset Financing Divisions of KARVY Consultants. He also held the position of Vice President of Project Finance for the TVS Group. Reputed to be a leader in Indian microfinance, Prasad served as a member of a high-level task force constituted by the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India to deliberate on the funding issues of microfinance institutions and he has done extensive policy work with government agencies and regulators.

Prasad also acts as a Managing Partner at Grassroots Capital. Prasad has a Master’s degree in management studies from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.

 
Brajesh Mishra

Brajesh joined ISFC in 2008 and is in charge of the overall business at ISFC.

Prior to joining ISFC, Brajesh was at ICICI Bank for 14 years where he worked in the growing consumer finance sector handling car loans, two wheeler loans and commercial vehicle loans. Later in his career he worked in the Rural, Microbanking and Agribusiness group where he got the opportunity to manage Agri-Commodity based finance to Agri-SME's, Working Capital Finance, Tractor Finance, Crop Finance and Rural Housing. Brajesh has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from MS University, Baroda.
